Tips For Humans #1 — Tax Time!
Today’s tip is super tactical, just in time for tax season:
“I have two boxes for receipts: one work, one personal. Every night, I empty my pockets, scribble a note on the back saying what it was for, then toss them into the appropriate box. I don't think about them again until January 1st. When New Years Day arrives, I turn on college football, plop myself on the floor with a huge pile of receipts, and start separating them into smaller piles, organized by expenses type. I also print and go through all my credit card statements, making little notes along the way. By the end of the first day of each year, I've already gotten a huge task out of the way."
Thanks to Dax Kimbrough of Convection Consulting for the tip.
